Heathrow and Reading Chapters held a joint event Rest Assured: The role of programme and project assurance on 15th March in High Wycombe.

The presentations were given by David Bright and Dougie Barr. David Bright described the work of the PPA SIG, its current work-streams, and explored some key questions with the audience, including: What is assurance? How much is enough? Can we integrate assurance activities? His interactive talk covered reasons for failure, the role of gate reviews and use of maturity models.

Dougie shared his experience of leading more than 50 PPM assurance reviews. His presentation can be viewed below.
