Body of Knowledge - June update

Drawing together the content from over 175 different authors is the challenge that faces the Body of Knowledge refresh consistency authors, as the content moves into the next stage of development.

Three very successful review events were held in April, involving over 100 domain experts looking in detail at the latest draft of the proposed content for the Body of Knowledge 6th edition. The reviewers’ comments together with the content have now been passed to consistency authors who will produce the next integrated draft, with the assistance of a specialist copy editor.

The structure of APM Body of Knowledge has also been reviewed and revised following feedback during the process, taking into account the comments and feedback received. The current working structure for the next integrated draft can be downloaded here.

There will be an opportunity to review the draft produced by the consistency authors in the autumn consultations. If you would like to be involved in the autumn consultations and be part of this groundbreaking, collaborative project that has involved over 1000 people to date, please complete the expression of interest form.

Work has also commenced on the Body of Knowledge production project and we are currently looking at potential new media platforms for the Body of Knowledge to be available on in 2012. To inform this work and as part of looking at how APM can use digital media to engage with the project management community, a short survey is available, to which we would appreciate your input.
